“Kaleidoscope Mind” - EP

HOLDING ON: Written about longing for a lover after experiencing extreme hurt and heartbreak, ‘Holding On’ journeys through the turmoil of wanting back the person who broke you.

TERRIFYING:
Something we’re all guilty of, ‘Terrifying’ is a song about having a crush you wish you didn’t. This, to the point of continually dreaming up a reality in your mind only to wake up and realise you’re alone.

THE WAY YOU SAID IT: Inspired by the exact moment a friend makes a backhand comment about you whilst you’re present in the conversation, ‘The Way You Said It’ speaks of the shock, hurt and the utter confusion as to why the opinion was formed in the first place.

FATE:
Our token love song. ‘Fate’ is written about meeting someone you know is supposed to be in your life, and the fear of messing it up

TAKE ANOTHER LOOK: Punchy, powerful and driven by the rare confidence that drives us to seek romance, ‘Take Another Look’ questions why someone wouldn’t want you back, when you think you’re worth it.

“There's no doubt that this is a band composed of players as there's not a note out of place. I'm hearing a little Gretta Ray in the voice but loaded with additional groove. ps the whispered 'cut me up' is terrifying” - Tommy Faith (Triple J) - re. “Meat”
